The Last Date For Convocation (V Convocation) registration service is extended upto 4th August 2014

Note : Please read the points posted below before u proceed to apply (or) Conform your registration for convocation. Registration is mandatory for all the students to obtain OD.

1) Only Those candidates can apply for Convocation whose PC issued date is on or before 31st July 2014. 

2) The registration is compulsory for all candidates who are qualified for the award of Degree/Diploma during the academic year 2013-2014 i.e., 2014 & before Pass outs (Those who had applied/registered for OD during final semester exams in your college & Those who had not applied/registered for OD).

3) If you had paid the fee for OD already during your final semester exam registrations then u need to register in convocation portal inorder to conform the address. In this process no need to pay any Fee. Download the pdf file which is given below & proceed according to it to conform the registration for OD. so, that OD will be sent to u. The last Date to Conform Registration For Convocation is 4th August 2014.

JNTU-HYD : 5th Convocation Notification

The V Convocation of the JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD (JNTUH) is likely to be held in the month of August/September 2014 (Actual date will be notified later). For the academic year 2012-13, the convocation notification is already issued and registrations were completed for the candidates who were qualified for the award of degree. For the academic year 2013-14, those who have passed during 16/02/2014 to 31/07/2014, the eligible candidates for the award of degree are hereby informed to visit the convocation registration portal http://epayments.jntuh.ac.in/convocation/ and submit the application online mode on or before 04/08/2014. Those who have applied for degree in the Pre-Convocation mode need not apply again for this notification. The application fee Rs.600/- shall be accepted in online mode only. The students who have already paid need not pay the fee. However the registration is compulsory. For details refer to the above mentioned registrations portal. A helpline desk is made available at the student service section (Ground floor) of the Examination Branch of JNTUH. If any candidate needs further clarification or help, he/she may contact the helpline desk (040-32517275 during 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday only).

The Degree Certificates of all the Bachelor Degree Courses, Master Degree Courses, M.S and M.Phil degrees will be sent by Registered post to the individuals to the address given in their online application. Only Gold medal recipients and Ph.D degree scholars can receive their degree in person at the convocation. The provisional list of Gold medal recipients for academic year 2012-13 and academic year 2013-14 will be placed in the JNTUH website on 31/07/2014.

Note : The candidates belonging to 2012-13 academic year, who have not applied earlier, may also apply now. The last Date to Register For Convocation is 4th August 2014.

EAMCET 2014 Counseling Notification : MPC Stream

The impasse over the engineering admissions was cleared by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) with the decision to start the first phase of admission process – certificate verification from August 7 across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The notification will be issued on July 30.

The decision was taken by the Admissions Committee where the representatives of Telangana were conspicuous by their absence.

The meeting held at the APSCHE decided to kick-start the process in view of the Supreme Court’s observation that it had not objected to the admission process when the Telangana Government approached it seeking extension of admission deadline to October 2.

The APSCHE Chairman, L. Venugopal Reddy, told reporters that dates of web counselling and the issue of fee reimbursement could be decided later as the certificate verification process would take at least 15 to 18 days.

He admitted the absence of Telangana officials at the meeting but said the quorum was there to take a decision.

Meanwhile, the Telangana Secretary for Higher Education, Vikas Raj, dashed off a letter to the APSCHE stating that the matter was ‘sub-judice’ and dates cannot be announced.

Mr. Raj in his letter argued that since the issue is in the Supreme Court and coming up for hearing, the APSCHE should not take a decision. He accused the APSCHE of taking unilateral actions inspite of being aware of the legal aspects.

Mr. Raj also argued that as per the Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganisation Act, common admissions have to be taken with mutual consent.
