Complete Info For B.Tech / B.Pharmacy 1st Year Students of JNTUA-2014 Admitted Batch

First of all u need to know your regulation (Most of the rules will be depending on your regulation only). The students who are joining this year (2014) will come under R13 regulation. Each & every student in JNTU will be given an unique ID (Roll No/Hall Ticket no) which is of 10 digits (which contains digit & alphabets).This ID/hall ticket will be till the end of your final year.

  • For Theory Subjects = 100 Marks (70 Marks For External Exams & 30 Marks For Internals)
  • For Practical subjects (Labs) = 75 Marks
  • Seminar = 25 Marks
  • Final Project = 200 Marks
  • Comprehensive Viva-Voce = 50 Marks

7) External Exams Question Paper Pattern
A) End examination of theory subjects shall have the following pattern:
  • There shall be 6 questions and all questions are compulsory.
  • Question I shall contain 10 compulsory short answer questions for a total of 20 marks such that each question carries 2 marks. There shall be 2 short answer questions from each unit.
  • In each of the questions from 2 to 6, there shall be either-or type questions of 10 marks each. Student shall answer any one of them.
  • Each of these questions from 2 to 6 shall cover one unit of the syllabus.

B) End examination of theory subjects consisting of two parts of different subjects, for ex: Electrical & Mechanical Technology, shall have the following pattern:
  • Question paper shall be in two parts viz., Part A and Part B with equal weightage.
  • In each part, there shall be 3 either-or type questions for 12,12 and 11 marks.
  • Note: The answers for Part A & Part B shall be written in two separate answer books.
