JNTU-ANANTAPUR : Single Set Question Paper Pattern & Seating Plan Instructions For May/June 2014 Examinations

The principals of all affiliated and constituent colleges offering B.Tech program are informed that the University has taken a decision to adopt a Single set question paper for regular and supplementary examinations with immediate effect. Hence for the coming May/June 2014 examinations series there shall be a single question paper for the regular and supplementary examinations. The principals/chief superintendents of the colleges/examinations centers are requested to note the same and inform all students concerned.

The chief superintendents/principals are also informed that the jumbling of examinations centers shall continue and special care is to be taken in preparing seating plans to avoid any malpractice. Seating in an examination hall shall be a mix of atleast two branches so that either row wise or column wise the adjacent students belong to different branches. A specimen layout for seating plan is shown below to serve as a model.

Further, the principals of the colleges where their own students are also writing examinations (self center) along with students of other colleges are requested not to arrange seating exclusively for their students in an examination hall. The students shall be mingled with the students of other colleges and must be distributed among all the halls. These guidelines must be strictly followed to avoid any malpractice. Further, if two branches have a common question paper, mixing of these branches in a single examination hall shall be avoided as for as possible.
